Also the OCR only shows up when it is in park. It won't show up at 100% if you are driving. I use the OCR if the filter is at 100% and i don't have a highway trip planned that will complete a full regen. That way I don't drive it just to complete a regen and put the extra miles on it. It’s a wall-flow filter usually made of cordierite, silicon carbide, or a ceramic monolith. As the exhaust gasses pass through the filter, it captures somewhere between 85%-100% of diesel particulate matter (DPM). The filter removes a lot of the DPM—so much so, you could place a white handkerchief over the exhaust pipe and it would stay white.
Use a DPF cleaner to reduce the temperature at which the soot combusts so that the soot will burn easily. Use a pressure gun with compressed air to remove the ash trapped in the filter. Use hot water to pressure wash the DPF. Spray the water in the direction opposite of the exhaust flow. Visit an expert.
