if you use directX 12,you should uninstall it and download directX 11,this game is old so can't play with dx12. WRONG ANSWER. yes its true that far cry 4 uses DX 11 .. but so does FC 5 and New Dawn as well as many other NEW GAMES. and DX 11 run times are installed with the game .. look in your FC 4 support folder.

Resolved it by going to the Ubisoft launcher, go to the Games tab, click Far Cry 6, Properties on the left, then click Verify files under Local Files. Once that completed, the minimap shows roads and tracks properly. Had the same problem that persisted between restarts and reboots.
The quests will be shown on the map by pressing and it show a map of the whole area and will include the quest icons. I went to 4 different locations and the marked animal on the map were completely different. Rhinos at the tiger area, goats at the honey badger area, monkeys at the boar area.
please do the following. up top in steam look for the help section. clik on that. then clik system information. let that load , only take a few seconds. once that loads with your system information. right clik on that. select all. then right clik agian select copy.
